Job summary

Unify is building the first AI-native outbound platform where agents and sellers work side by side. As an early Engineering Manager at Unify GTM, you’ll shape the DNA of an agile, high-velocity engineering org and lead a core product pod responsible for delivery, quality, and team health.

You’ll partner with product and design to ship customer-centered initiatives, scale processes and systems, and recruit and nurture top engineers as the company grows 3x in the next year.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience in fast-moving environments.
• 3+ years of engineering management experience.
• Experience building and leading teams at early-stage startups.
• Ability to set a high bar and inspire others to reach it.
• Comfort with recruiting, hands-on coding, retros, prod debugging, or roadmap tweaks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a core product team: manage, coach, and grow engineers while maintaining visibility into technical work.
• Own delivery: scope and ship customer-centered, fast, reliable product initiatives.
• Level up systems: improve engineering processes from planning to observability to CI/CD for rapid iteration and scale.
• Lead by example: participate in code reviews, design discussions, and incident response.
• Build the team: recruit, hire, and onboard top engineering talent as we scale the org 3x+ in the next 12 months.
• Shape culture: foster ownership, speed, and empathy within the team and for users.
