Job summary

Norm is seeking an Associate in the Funds group to focus on the formation, negotiation, and management of investment vehicles. You will leverage AI agents to enhance drafting, comparison, and negotiation of fund agreements and investor documents.

This full-time role is based in New York and targets candidates with JD and 3–6 years in funds or related transactions. You will use AI tools to streamline complex workflows and support efficient, compliant deal execution.

Qualifications

• JD required and admitted to at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 3–6 years of experience in investment funds, investment management, or financial transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
• Curiosity and openness to using AI tools to improve precision and efficiency.
• No prior AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Fund document drafting using AI tools for LPAs, subscription documents, and side letters.
• Investor negotiations using AI‑driven analytics to benchmark terms and summarize provisions.
• Coordinate with compliance teams to ensure fund structures meet SEC, CFTC, ERISA and related rules.
• Capture institutional knowledge, precedents, and negotiation patterns with AI tools.
• Collaborate with technology teams to make deal workflows more efficient using AI.
