Job summary
Norm Ai in New York City seeks an associate for the Technology Transactions group to handle high-impact IP and tech-focused deals, leveraging AI to support drafting, diligence and execution in stand-alone transactions and IP/tech aspects of M&A, private equity and ECVC deals.
You will collaborate with partners, clients and technology teams to reimagine the way lawyers work, delivering AI-assisted workflows that boost accuracy, speed, and client service in complex technology transactions.
Qualifications
- JD or equivalent; admitted to at least one US jurisdiction.
- 4+ years in Technology/IP Transactions at a law firm.
- Hands-on drafting and negotiating technology/IP agreements.
- Experience with IP/Tech workstreams in M&A and private equity.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills; detail-oriented.
- No prior AI experience required.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and revise technology and IP documents using AI aids.
- Support due diligence with rapid document reviews and term identification.
- Assist in deal execution and coordination with counterparties.
- Advise clients on AI-assisted workflows for efficiency and speed.
- Collaborate with technology teams to improve processes with Norm Ai.
