Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Functional Finance team in El Segundo. This AI-forward finance role partners with functional cost center owners to support cost management, headcount planning, and reporting across Finance, HR, Technology, Legal, and Marketing.

The role requires FP&A experience in a large matrixed organization, advanced Excel, and proficiency with TM1/Cognos/OneStream and Power BI; experience with AI tools is highly valued.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or financial planning in a large, matrixed org.
• Experience in functional finance or business partnering preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with finance audiences.
• Proficiency in financial planning systems; TM1/Cognos/OneStream preferred.
• Advanced Excel; ability to synthesize data into executive narratives using AI.

Responsibilities

• Partner with functional cost center owners to develop, track, and explain monthly actuals vs budget/forecast.
• Support annual budget, rolling forecasts, and LRP planning cycles.
• Prepare headcount and opex reporting with run-rate cost trajectories.
• Leverage TM1/Cognos/OneStream and Excel; support migration to OneStream as planning evolves.
• Collaborate on month-end close activities including accruals and reclassifications.
• Build financial models to support cost transformation and ad hoc requests; use AI for docs.
