Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a Manager, Corporate FP&A to drive financial performance through corporate reporting and forecasting. You will conduct ad hoc analyses, build long-range models, and develop pro forma plans with cross-functional teams.

You will craft budgets, forecast, and analyze revenue/expense drivers, while leveraging AI-enabled tools to streamline processes and support investor reporting. This role offers growth within a global edtech leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of FP&A, private equity, or similar experience.
• Knowledge of Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash Flow.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Aptitude for AI and operational transformations.
• Analytical, quantitative and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform ad hoc analyses across spend, investments, and transformations.
• Build and maintain models for long‑term decisions and P&L impact.
• Develop financial projections for planning and pro forma M&A activities.
• Analyze market and competitor opportunities and support investor reporting.
• Prepare budgeting/forecasting decks for executives.
• Collaborate with FP&A and business partners on planning activities.
• Identify efficiency opportunities from unit economics.
• Provide insights on performance trends and analytics.
• Streamline planning with AI-enabled tools and processes.
• Support external investor data requests.
