Job summary

Cengage is seeking a Manager, Corporate FP&A in Massachusetts to drive strategic financial planning and investor-ready reporting. You will build models, forecast company performance, and analyze opportunities across the enterprise.

You will collaborate with FP&A teams, develop executive briefing decks, and identify efficiency opportunities in unit economics while leveraging AI-enabled tools to streamline processes and deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of FP&A, private equity, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; ability to build leadershij forecasting models.

Responsibilities

• Perform ad hoc analyses for corporate initiatives across spend and investments.
• Build and maintain models to support long-term decisions and proforma M&A activity.
• Develop market and competitor intelligence and assess business opportunities.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting decks for executive discussions.
• Collaborate with FP&A and business partners on planning, analytics, and driver analysis.
• Identify efficiency opportunities from unit economics and performance trends.
• Support AI-enabled planning tools and external investor data requirements.
