This role partners with process owners to close control gaps, support SOX readiness, and shape the AI governance framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting, audit, financial reporting, or finance transformation experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, technical accounting, and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience designing and implementing internal controls.
• Proven project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continually improve a scalable internal controls framework across accounting and finance processes.
• Partner with process owners to identify control gaps, assess risks, and implement remediation plans.
• Support SOX readiness, compliance programs, and internal audit activities.
• Develop control documentation, narratives, risk assessments, and testing methodologies.
• Establish governance around AI-enabled accounting and finance processes.
• Monitor evolving accounting standards and assess organizational impact.
• Support finance transformation projects including ERP, reporting, consolidation, and workflow automation.
• Serve as a key accounting stakeholder during system implementations and enhancements.
• Develop scalable accounting workflows and automate processes while preserving control integrity.
• Assist in roadmap planning for finance technology investments.
• Collaborate with Data, Finance Systems, and IT to improve master data quality and governance.
