Job summary

Deloitte France seeks a seasoned AI/ML leader to drive AI solution development for large enterprises in a finance transformation context. You will bridge client stakeholders and technical delivery teams, shaping requirements and guiding architecture from concept through deployment.

You will lead engagements, translate business needs into technical design, and mentor junior staff, while supporting business development activities across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience with software development using Python or similar coding languages.
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (e.g., GCP).
• Experience taking production-grade AI-driven solutions from conception to launch for customers.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with customers.
• Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation architectures.
• Experience using Python and SQL to develop analytics, ML, data engineering, or automation solutions in AWS, GCP, or Azure environments.
• Experience architecting generative and agentic AI solutions across infra, model, and app layers with platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure; models like GPT-4o, Claude, or Llama; applications like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
• Experience working with finance data and use cases related to planning, budgeting, forecasting, close, profitability, or cost allocations.
• Ability to travel 50% on average.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI solution development and deployment, managing day-to-day client relationships and ensuring outcomes meet client expectations.
• Serve as a techno-functional bridge between client stakeholders and delivery teams, clarifying requirements and design.
• Lead small engagements within larger programs to identify, design, and implement AI-enabled solutions.
• Translate requirements into build specifications and provide functional guidance during development, testing, deployment.
• Translate business needs into AI design requirements aligned to business outcomes.
• Engage clients to identify issues and high-impact AI use cases and shape value cases.
• Perform assessments using quantitative and qualitative methods to inform solution architecture.
• Define scope, objectives, and delivery plans; manage architecture through execution and post-implementation review.
• Contribute to business development via proposals, RFPs, and mentoring the team.
