Job summary

Gilbane Building Company seeks an experienced Full Stack Developer with ServiceNow expertise to design, build, and support enterprise technology solutions in a large, governed IT environment. You will leverage AI tools to accelerate development, testing, and documentation while ensuring quality and security.

The role spans design through deployment with collaboration across security, architecture, and product teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack software development experience in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with modern development frameworks, APIs, databases, and cloud-based applications, with emphasis on SQL, .NET, React, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, testing methodologies, and CI/CD processes.
• Experience working within formal governance and architecture review processes.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• 2+ years of ServiceNow admin/development experience across platform configuration, scripting, workflows, and integrations
• Experience with ServiceNow workflows, business rules, scripting, integrations, and platform customization.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or similar technologies.
• ServiceNow certifications are a plus.
• Experience working within Agile or SAFe delivery frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support applications and integrations.
• Administer and develop ServiceNow platform solutions, including configuration, customization, and ongoing platform enhancements
• Collaborate with business partners, architects, security teams, and product owners to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Utilize approved AI tools to improve development efficiency, testing coverage, documentation, and code quality.
• Follow established architecture, security, governance, and change management standards.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
