Job summary

Innovas seeks a Senior Director of Engineering & Architecture to lead a team of senior software engineers and drive the architecture, development, delivery, and operation of customer-facing products and internal systems. This role blends hands-on technical work (70%) with people leadership (30%) and requires delivering high-quality software across diverse environments.

You will define roadmaps, guide microservices and cloud deployments, and champion AI-assisted development, ensuring security,

Qualifications

20+ years of IT and software engineering experience.
Experience across frontend and backend, APIs, databases, and deployment infrastructure.
Hands-on with event-sourced systems and microservices.
Experience delivering and operating cloud and on‑premises apps.

Responsibilities

Translate business goals into technical roadmaps and architecture decisions.
Own end-to-end engineering delivery from design to production.
Establish development practices: source control, testing, CI/CD, release management.
Apply Agile methods ( Scrum ) to enable rapid iteration and predictable delivery.
Lead AI-assisted development and integration of AI capabilities into products.
