Job summary

Broadcom's GTO team in Colorado seeks an Electrical Hardware & AI Integration Engineer to bridge IT infrastructure with design engineering. You will apply hardware design and power electronics expertise to evolve the tech stack and leverage AI to accelerate workflows, automate circuit analysis, and shorten hardware development lifecycles.

You will validate hardware, perform IC and system analyses, develop embedded firmware, and support PCB layout and bring-up for high-speed digital systems.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with fast-paced environments (startup or research labs).
• Background in satellite communications, power converters, or high-speed digital systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between GTO and design engineering to translate hardware requirements to IT solutions.
• Perform Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA) and sensitivity analysis for margins.
• Identify and implement AI tools to automate engineering tasks and data analysis.
• Support mixed-signal hardware design, schematic capture, and PCB layouts.
• Lead bring-up and testing of high-speed digital systems with appropriate instruments.
• Develop and tune embedded firmware (C/C++, Python) for closed-loop control.
