Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Specialist, Content Developer to join the English Language Arts Content Development team. You will work as a content and assessment expert to develop K-12 assessments for state and district clients, collaborating with educators and Pearson groups to ensure standards-based content.

You will leverage AI-powered tools to support item development, review, and enhancement, while maintaining accessibility and quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent experience required.
Five years’ teaching experience in elementary or secondary education preferred.
Strong knowledge of content-specific area and educational trends.
Experience with large-scale educational measurement is a plus.
Proven ability to leverage AI in content creation and assessment.

Responsibilities

Develop and review content-specific test items across grade levels and assessment types.
Assist in item and test specification development and test blueprints.
Use AI tools to support content development and ensure accessibility standards.
Collaborate with educators and Pearson teams to integrate AI-generated assets.
Select, train, and manage writers to develop items aligned with standards.
