Job summary

Allegiance Group is seeking a Direct Response Database Developer to build and optimize automated data pipelines for direct response fundraising. You will own data cleansing, transformation, and validation across donor and marketing data, ensuring campaign-ready assets.

In this role you will leverage SQL Server and other relational databases, automate recurring tasks, and collaborate with Data Analysts and client teams to deliver accurate analytics, audience segmentation, and reporting for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Data Management, or related field.
• 3-5+ years in database development, data processing, or data operations.
• Experience with direct marketing, fundraising, nonprofit, or data-intensive campaigns.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL Server or alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Load, cleanse, transform, and summarize client donor and marketing data.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, triggers, and database objects.
• Customize data mappings, transformations, and business rules per client requirements.
• Develop and execute data ingestion and validation processes.
• Prepare and validate data files for direct marketing communications and segmentation.
• Work with large datasets across multiple client environments.
• Troubleshoot data processing, database, and file issues.
• Perform QA and validation of data outputs against business rules.
• Support data preparation for reporting, analytics, and dashboards.
• Identify opportunities to automate and optimize recurring data processes.
