Job summary

Allegiance Group is seeking a Direct Response Database Developer to build and optimize data pipelines that power direct response fundraising. You will manage data cleansing, transformation, and preparation to create campaign-ready data assets across ingestion, campaign execution, reporting, and analysis.

The role requires strong SQL and relational database skills, experience with large-scale datasets, and collaboration with Data Analysts and client teams in a remote/hybrid US setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 3–5+ years of database development or data operations experience.
• Strong SQL and relational database expertise needed.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and data specs with stakeholders.
• Load, cleanse, transform, and summarize donor and marketing data.
• Develop and maintain SQL objects (queries, procedures, views, triggers).
• Customize data mappings and business rules for client campaigns.
• Ingest, validate, and prepare data for reporting and campaign delivery.
• Ensure data quality and adherence to client rules and standards.
• Support analytics, dashboards, and fundraising insights.
• Automate recurring data processes to improve efficiency.
