Zusammenfassung

Wonder is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead AI-native developer tooling and define the architecture for MCPs/CLIs, sub-agents, and integrations that connect AI tooling to Wonder's codebases. You will shape patterns from outside Wonder and drive adoption across engineering teams.

You will guide reviews, implement cost-aware tooling, and mentor senior engineers while collaborating with platform and infrastructure groups to land production-ready solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with AI tooling.
• Experience integrating AI tools into real development workflows at scale.
• Strong system design skills and ownership of tools/platforms end-to-end.
• Ability to operate with ambiguity in a new team and shape playbooks.
• Experience designing and consuming APIs or webhooks in integrations.
• Experience building developer tooling or internal platforms used by engineers.
• Experience with Java/JVM and/or Python is a plus.
• Pragmatic problem solver with excellent communication across teams.

• Bring outside patterns and translate them into standards for Wonder's stack.
• Set strategy for pre-review and triage tooling for AI-generated code.
• Define architecture for systems optimizing AI costs across the org.

• Guide technical direction and ensure cross-team delivery in production.
• Write strategy docs, specs, and mentor senior engineers.
