Job summary

Clay is seeking a strategic Deal Desk Analyst in New York to accelerate deal velocity with AI-driven automation. You will advise on deal structuring, pricing optimization, and contract negotiation while ensuring policy compliance and maximizing value for the sales organization.

You will collaborate with Legal, Revenue Operations, and Accounting to ensure accurate bookings and revenue recognition, and you will help scale processes through dashboards, reporting, and training of GTME and GS teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field is required.
• 3–6 years of experience in deal desk, sales operations, finance, or related analytical role.
• Proficiency in CPQ tools and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to identify manual processes and design scalable automation solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with customer-facing teams and executives.

Responsibilities

• Deal Operations & Execution: structure non-standard and complex deals; review terms, pricing, and discounts; guide negotiations; ensure compliant revenue recognition.
• Process Documentation & Automation: create deal desk policies and playbooks; implement AI/automation for contract analysis; build dashboards and reporting; train GTME and GS teams.
