Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Data Scientist to deliver data science solutions and AI-enabled capabilities that support VALUE products and business outcomes. You will transform data into actionable insights, develop ML solutions, and communicate findings through clear visualizations and reports.

Collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts, Data Engineers, and QA, you will identify opportunities where data and AI improve decision making, automate workflows, and enhance customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in data science, analytics, ML, or related roles.
• Proficient in Python for data analysis and modeling.
• Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
• Experience working in Agile product or engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deployed statistical and ML models to support VALUE products and business outcomes.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data; create dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts, and QA to operationalize AI capabilities.
• Evaluate model performance, monitor AI solutions, and ensure responsible use.
• Translate business questions into analytical solutions and communicate findings clearly.
