Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Senior Director of Data & Digital Product Architecture to design and industrialize enterprise data and digital assets, driving reusable, production‑ready solutions with AI and automation. You will lead cross‑functional teams to bind data and product capabilities to a centralized architecture.

You will oversee scalable medallion architecture, promote governance, and accelerate modeling cycles while delivering high‑impact, enterprise‑wide solutions.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in data architecture, solution architecture, data modeling, data/analytics solution delivery, automation, or applied AI within an enterprise data environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading a data architecture function and designing scalable, enterprise‑agnostic data models.
• Demonstrated experience designing and industrializing bespoke or prototype solutions into reusable, production‑ready assets.
• Strong knowledge of medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold), reusable modeling, and enterprise‑agnostic data design.
• Hands‑on understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated code evaluation, and controlled promotion to production.
• Proven ability to apply AI and automation to accelerate modeling, integration, and solutioning while preserving quality and governance.
• Strong communication, influencing, and change leadership skills; experience in complex, regulated enterprises preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data Architecture Leadership: Lead the Data Architecture function, owning the design of the scalable, flexible, enterprise‑agnostic data model that underpins the enterprise medallion architecture.
• Solution Architecture & Design: Own the end‑to‑end solution architecture that connects data and digital product capabilities to the centralized, enterprise‑agnostic medallion models.
• AI‑Accelerated Modeling & Solution Industrialization: Weave AI and automation to compress modeling time and produce production‑ready assets.
• Data & Digital Product Integration: Integrate data and digital product solutions onto shared sources with automation and AI.
• Reusability, Standards & Enablement: Centralize AI‑assisted modeling patterns and reusable components across engineering workflows.
