The Cigna Group seeks a Principal Data / Solution Architect to lead hands-on design of reusable data and solution architectures powering enterprise data products. You will translate architectural direction into production-ready designs and collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Analysis, Digital Product, and Analytics teams to maximize reuse of governed sources.

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on experience as a data or solution architect in a complex enterprise data environment.
• Expert knowledge of medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) and reusable data modeling.
• Strong ability to translate architectural direction into concrete, production-ready designs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated code evaluation, and controlled promotion to production.

Responsibilities

• Design reusable, scalable data models and solution architectures for enterprise use cases.
• Refactor bespoke solutions onto centralized Silver sources for reuse and governance.
• Apply AI and automation to accelerate modeling and design while maintaining quality.
