Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Capacity Planning & Forecasting professional to manage global data center capacity across on-premises and cloud environments.

You will partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, SMAI, and Corporate IT to translate demand into actionable infrastructure plans and optimize utilization. The role emphasizes AI-enabled tools, predictive modeling, and lifecycle governance to improve forecasting accuracy, investment decisions, and readiness for AI workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in infrastructure engineering, cloud operations, data center operations, capacity planning or lifecycle management.
• Experience with enterprise infra including compute, storage, networking, cloud, and data centers.
• Strong analytical, forecasting, reporting, automation, and problem-solving skills, with experience presenting to executives.
• Experience employing AI-powered tools and data analytics across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a global infrastructure capacity view across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Develop rolling 3-, 6-, 12-, and 24-month capacity forecasts.
• Use AI-assisted forecasting, predictive analytics, and digital modeling to predict future demand.
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, and platform teams to translate forecasts into plans.
