Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Capacity Planning & Analytics professional to oversee global data center and hybrid cloud capacity. You will forecast demand, optimize resources, and drive governance across a multi-region infrastructure portfolio.

You will partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, SMAI, and Corporate IT to translate forecasts into action, leveraging AI-driven planning, automation, and digital modeling to improve forecasting accuracy and investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud operations, data center operations, capacity planning, or technology lifecycle management.
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments, including compute, storage, networking, cloud, and data center technologies.
• Strong analytical, forecasting, reporting, automation, and problem-solving skills with experience presenting recommendations to executives.
• Demonstrable ability to employ AI-powered tools and data analytics to improve business outcomes while collaborating across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a comprehensive view of global infrastructure capacity across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Develop rolling 3-, 6-, 12-, and 24-month capacity forecasts using business signals and roadmaps.
• Establish and manage capacity planning governance across hybrid environments; lead reviews with teams.
• Develop executive dashboards and reporting to support capacity and investment decisions.
