Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho seeks an AI Enablement Industrial Engineer to translate manufacturing changes into capacity insights and build scalable planning tools for high-volume memory fabs.

You will develop data-driven recommendations, automate planning models with Python/SQL/R/Excel, and communicate results to senior leaders while collaborating across Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to accelerate ramp and sustain operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or a quantitative field.
• 2+ years of experience in semiconductor capacity planning, business analysis, or process engineering.
• Experience with generative AI tools.
• Experience analyzing data, forming recommendations, and presenting results clearly.
• Ability to work across Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive equipment availability and utilization to maximize fab capacity.
• Model capacity impacts of new tools, process changes, and roadmap decisions.
• Develop and automate planning models using generative AI tools, Python, SQL, R, Excel, or VBA.
• Build and maintain site capacity and utilization models to optimize deployed capital.
• Communicate recommendations and improvement proposals through dashboards and executive presentations.
