Job summary

Howden is hiring an entrepreneurial, AI-enabled Data Analyst to redefine how data drives insurance brokerage. You will own domain roadmaps, collaborate with business leaders, and develop data models, semantic definitions, and consumption interfaces that deliver measurable commercial outcomes.

You will lead analytical product lifecycles, partner with engineering and governance, and build forecasting, segmentation, and scenario analysis tools to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial, AI-enabled Data Analysts to redefine what it means to be a data-driven insurance brokerage.
• Ability to build data models, semantic definitions, and consumption interfaces that drive commercial outcomes.
• Work with stakeholders to own domain roadmaps and interactively develop analytics products.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a trusted business partner who understands processes, decisions, pain points, outcomes, and priorities.
• Identify and recommend data and analytics solutions that create measurable business value.
• Translate questions into data visualizations, calculations, and consumption-ready data models.
• Use AI capabilities to accelerate data exploration, documentation, SQL development, calculations, visualization, testing, and prototyping.
• Create dashboard and data-product mockups in live sessions for feedback and alignment.
• Partner with engineering and governance to build end-to-end data products with clear metric definitions and data-quality rules.
• Build forecasting, segmentation, and scenario analysis tools for decision-making.
• Profile, validate, and reconcile data against sources and definitions; resolve discrepancies.
• Own the analytics product lifecycle from prototype to release and adoption.
