Job summary

Sage Recruiting Inc. is hiring for a customer-facing, deeply technical role aimed at engineers who code daily and love working with customers. You'll translate client pain points into demos, proofs of concept, and production guardrails, with AI-assisted development and monthly on-site deployments where needed.

Base salary ranges from $160K to $210K USD plus equity. The role is remote (U.S.-based) with occasional travel, and you’ll work with a small, senior team leveraging AI to scale customer

Qualifications

• AI-native workflow experience or daily use of AI tooling
• Genuine love of customer-facing work and presenting to customers
• Willingness to learn quickly and take ownership of critical tasks
• Strong coding foundation in at least one modern language
• Exposure to cloud and ops concepts (AWS, GCP, Azure, containers, IaC)
• High coachability and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Attend customer conversations and translate pain points into proofs of concept and production guardrails
• Present work directly to customers and engineering teams
• Own accounts end-to-end after deployment and expand use cases
• Hands-on deployment in a customer environment, troubleshooting live
• Write real code (Go, Python, Bash) with AI assistance to contribute to the library
• Occasionally dig into the core product to unblock customers
• Own fixes when issues arise rather than filing tickets
