The role emphasizes quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, subcontractor bidding, and bid documentation. The ideal candidate combines construction knowledge with subcontractor estimating experience and strong communication skills, with the ability to leverage AI, automation, and data-driven tools

Qualifications

5+ years of construction estimating or preconstruction experience.
Experience estimating commercial construction, renovation, or similar projects.
Proficiency with Procore, estimating/takeoff technologies, Excel, and standard business apps.

Responsibilities

Review drawings and bid documents to determine scope and requirements.
Prepare estimates for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and general conditions.
Perform quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and value engineering.
Support estimates for commercial construction and renovations including hospitality projects.
Maintain bid logs, CRM records, and estimating documentation.
