Job summary

Genserve is seeking an analytical Collections & Cash Applications Analyst to own the back half of the order-to-cash cycle in our Tampa operations. You will combine commercial collections with accurate cash application across a multi-entity environment, using AI-enabled tools and solid judgment to verify outputs before they touch customers or the ledger.

You will work across Sage, NetSuite, Salesforce, and QuickBooks, driving forecasting, root-cause analysis, and reporting on aging and DSO while

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 3–5 years of commercial collections and/or cash application experience.
• Hands-on ERP experience (Sage, NetSuite) and strong Excel skills.
• Strong data and analytical skills to build insight from a dataset.
• Willingness to use AI tools with judgment to verify outputs.
• Ability to hold firm on collections while preserving customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own collections for a national portfolio and escalate per policy.
• Apply incoming payments across multiple entities and systems.
• Investigate unapplied cash, short-pays, and remittance discrepancies.
• Analyze payment patterns, forecast cash flow, and monitor DSO.
• Identify root causes of non-payment and escalate to upstream owners.
• Utilize AI tooling for auto-matching and prioritization with human checks.
