Job summary

The Hartford is seeking a Reliability Engineer to lead infrastructure resilience in cloud and SAAS environments. You will partner with architecture and software teams to improve stability, performance, and security while delivering quality technical solutions.

You will implement AI-driven anomaly detection, runbooks, and self-healing capabilities, and help optimize CI/CD and DevSecOps practices across IT operations. A hybrid schedule is available with several office options.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in Infra/SRE/DevOps.
• Hands-on with observability tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, CloudWatch).
• IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation.

Responsibilities

• Improve reliability of cloud/SaaS systems and performance.
• Support architecture/engineering to align with tech strategy.
• Lead as a technical leader across applications and integrations.
• Develop tooling, alerts, and automation for problem prevention and recovery.
