Job summary

Mondrian Alpha is seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join the Cloud & Platforms team in New York. You will design, build, and operationalize a modern cloud infrastructure platform supporting critical applications at scale.

In this role, you will work across multi-cloud environments with a focus on automation and AI enablement, driving infrastructure modernization, developer velocity, and platform maturity while collaborating with development teams and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in platform or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Software engineering background or strong understanding of how developers interact with infrastructure.
• Experience with containerization technologies.
• Experience with Python or .NET development.
• Ability to collaborate with developers, stakeholders and DevOps teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate a modern cloud infrastructure platform.
• Work across multi-cloud environments with emphasis on automation and AI enablement.
• Drive infrastructure modernization, improve developer velocity and platform maturity.
