Systematix is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer – AI & Data to design and build the foundational cloud platform supporting enterprise AI, ML, data science and scientific computing initiatives for a key client.

The role combines architecture with hands-on engineering, focusing on automating infrastructure, building reusable platform components and enabling self-service access for AI/ML teams. A platform-builder mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Azure/cloud engineering in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience designing automated, IaC-driven cloud platforms rather than administering existing environments.
• Strong cloud architecture and Platform Engineering expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable Azure infrastructure for AI/ML, data science and HPC workloads.
• Transform manual infrastructure into automated, reusable IaC components.
• Develop standardized platform primitives and enterprise architecture patterns.
• Implement CI/CD and Git-based engineering practices for cloud platform development.
• Embed security, governance, and operational controls into platform components.
