Job summary

Farsight AI in Manhattan, New York, is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure / Platform Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure for our AI products used by premier financial institutions. This in‑person role is based in NYC four days a week, with Fridays remote to support flexible collaboration.

You will architect and deploy cloud infrastructure (AWS), optimize CI/CD, and build infrastructure‑as‑code (CDK/CloudFormation).

Qualifications

• 4+ years in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or related fields.
• Experience with AWS services and hybrid deployments.
• Ability to collaborate with developers to align infra with product needs.
• Knowledge of security/compliance in regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure for AI workloads.
• Streamline and optimize CI/CD platform for rapid deployments.
• Design and maintain infrastructure-as-code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation).
• Develop monitoring, logging, and observability strategies.
• Ensure infrastructure adheres to security standards and compliance.
• Manage large-scale microservice architectures and their communication.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency, cost optimization, and performance improvements.
