Accrete in Lower Manhattan, NY, is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This role drives automation, CI/CD, and security-focused practices to enable fast, reliable software delivery.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, mentor juniors, and stay ahead of industry trends to improve DevOps capabilities in a hybrid office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in DevOps, system administration, or related roles.
• Deep expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC tools.
• Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, Bash, Go).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, CI/CD tooling, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and management of cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Develop and maintain automation for build, test, deployment, and provisioning.
• Collaborate with software, QA, and security teams for robust CI/CD.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and improve scalability and reliability.
• Define and enforce best practices for infrastructure, config, and security.
• Drive disaster recovery, backup, and system resilience initiatives.
• Mentor DevOps engineers and junior team members.
• Stay current with new technologies to enhance DevOps capabilities.
