Job summary

Ajaia is hiring a Cloud Security & DevOps Engineer to manage our multi-cloud infrastructure across GCP and Azure in a fully remote role. You will configure infrastructure, enforce security controls, and build automation that reduces manual overhead across IT and security operations.

The company operates AI products in regulated industries, so you will support compliance requirements (HIPAA, SOC 2) at the infrastructure level.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
2–5 years in cloud engineering, DevOps, or security roles.
Hands-on multi-cloud experience (GCP/Azure).
IaC tools: Terraform, Pulumi, or similar.
CI/CD pipeline development and deployment automation.
Security fundamentals: IAM, network segmentation, encryption.
Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
Security monitoring and alerting experience.
Internal IT operations: SSO/MFA/RBAC, endpoint security, onboarding automation.
HIPAA, SOC 2 familiarity at infra level.
Strong documentation and audit-ready records.
Comfortable in remote, fast-paced environments.
AI tools proficiency in daily work.

Responsibilities

Manage and secure multi-cloud infrastructure (GCP and Azure).
Configure infrastructure and enforce security controls.
Build and manage deployment pipelines and automation.
Support compliance requirements at the infrastructure level (HIPAA, SOC 2).
Handle internal IT operations: access management, endpoint security, onboarding automation.
Leverage AI tools to write scripts, analyze logs, and accelerate engineering work.
