Job summary

Ericsson in Austin, TX seeks a Senior Silicon CAD Automation Engineer to build and scale CI/CD pipelines for ASIC/SoC development on-site with hybrid options. You will architect automation frameworks, integrate EDA tools, and advance AI-driven workflow optimization in a fast-paced silicon design environment.

You will collaborate with IP design, verification, IT, and infrastructure teams to ensure scalable, reliable development environments and measurable engineering productivity gains.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of experience.
• Proven automation infrastructure support for ASIC/SoC or semiconductor environments is preferred.
• Strong CI/CD and automation tooling experience in large-scale design flows.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting silicon development workflows across RTL, synthesis, and verification.
• Develop scalable automation solutions integrating source control, EDA tools, and engineering workflows.
• Standardize development processes and infrastructure best practices to improve productivity.
• Apply AI-assisted approaches to improve workflow optimization, regression analysis, and failure triage.
