Job summary

Genesys is seeking a Software Engineer to help build and operate AI-powered customer experience platforms. You will design backend microservices in Python that power CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure, enabling scalable deployment processes.

Qualifications

3–5 years of software engineering experience, with exposure to microservices or distributed systems.
Proficient in Python, with a focus on backend applications and automation tooling.
Hands-on experience with cloud-based technologies (AWS preferred; Azure a bonus) and CI/CD concepts.

Responsibilities

Implement microservices for CI/CD: build and maintain backend microservices in Python.
Contribute to CI/CD infrastructure and automation components.
Support system reliability and monitor backend services in distributed environments.
Apply AI-assisted engineering practices using AI tools while validating outputs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and grow technical skills with senior engineers.
