Job summary

Go Fractional in San Francisco is seeking a hands-on content marketer/writer to adapt tone across guides, blogs, recaps, and campaign content, translating complex science for a technical audience. This role requires 4+ years in content writing, especially in B2B SaaS, and comfort with AI content tools.

The 5-month contract calls for 15–25 hours per week, hybrid in SF, collaborating with Demand Gen and Sales to produce product briefs, case studies, white papers, gated guides, and blog posts,

Qualifications

• 4+ years in content marketing or writing, ideally in B2B SaaS.
• Strong writing and editing across formats (guides, blogs, recaps, campaign content).
• Experience with or willingness to learn AI content tools (AirOps or similar).
• Familiarity with CMS Contentful, SEMrush, GA4 or other marketing metrics tools.
• Nice-to-have: AEO exposure.
• Nice-to-have: life sciences or biotech background.
• Embedded contractor, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and refresh assets that move pipeline: product briefs, case studies, white papers, and gated guides.
• Write persona- and modality-specific content across product lines.
• Partner with GTM stakeholders on customer stories; write pieces from scratch.
• Use AI tooling (AirOps) to draft and refine at scale.
• Refresh and update existing web content for SEO/AEO performance.
• Collaborate with Sales/Field to support customer story development.
