Job summary

PIMCO is seeking an Account Associate to support institutional clients within the Client Management group. You will help prepare portfolio reviews, attribution analyses, and client reporting while collaborating with Product Managers, Portfolio Managers, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Economics/Accounting or related field is required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in financial services, asset management, investment banking or accounting.
• Completion of Series 7 and 63 within the first six months of employment.
• Knowledge of and interest in the financial markets, fixed income, and portfolio management techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg, index provider databases, query tools.
• Interest and exposure to data analysis, automation tools, AI-assisted workflows; ability to learn emerging technologies for client-facing contexts.
• Self-starter and able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to articulate analysis clearly, in writing and verbally.
• Collaborative team player with cross-functional engagement.
• Excellent time management, multi-tasking, organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver core client servicing materials (portfolio reviews, performance attribution and reporting) and respond to client inquiries with accuracy and timeliness.
• Partner with product specialists, operations, and compliance to coordinate client activity and resolve requests.
• Conduct ongoing client and prospect research by synthesizing internal insights and external market intelligence to identify actionable insights and opportunities.
• Maintain and enhance CRM records, client activity tracking, and pipeline visibility for proactive coverage.
• Leverage data and AI-enabled tools to enhance reporting efficiency, quality, speed, and scalability; identify workflow improvements.
