Job summary

Storm2 is hiring a Technical Partnerships Engineer in Washington, DC. This role blends software engineering with direct customer partnership and will involve building APIs, SDKs, and developer tools for enterprise customers.

You will stay hands-on with code while working with product and engineering teams to integrate tools, troubleshoot issues, and design scalable solutions, with strong growth potential in a fintech/AI‑native environment.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and engineering background.
• Experience with APIs, SDKs, integrations, or developer platforms.
• Ability to investigate, diagnose, and solve complex technical issues independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working directly with external engineering and product teams.
• Interest in combining software engineering with technical customer engagement.
• Curiosity around AI, LLMs, and emerging developer technologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical partner to customer product and engineering teams.
• Help customers integrate APIs, SDKs, developer tools, and embedded products.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues across multiple customer accounts.
• Write production-quality code to improve both customer-facing and internal systems.
• Design technical solutions rather than simply configuring existing tools.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly through Slack, tickets, documentation, and customer calls.
• Identify recurring challenges and build scalable engineering solutions.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer teams to influence roadmap decisions.
