Job summary

Greystar's Data, Digital, and AI (D²AI) organization offers a Data Analytics Engineering Internship on the Decision Intelligence team. You’ll work with analysts and engineers to solve a real business problem using data over a 10‑week internship.

You’ll build data models with SQL/Python/Databricks, use AI coding assistants, test and document your work, and present your final capstone project to leaders. Compensation ranges from $31 to $45 per hour, with opportunities across Investment, Finance,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field and expected to graduate between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Experience with SQL and Python through coursework, projects, or internships.
• Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Interest in using AI tools to support technical and analytical work.
• Strong communication, curiosity, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to understand goals and data needs.
• Build and validate data models using SQL, Python, and Databricks.
• Use AI coding assistants as part of daily workflow.
• Analyze data, identify quality issues, and develop practical solutions.
• Test, document, and present final project and recommendations.
