Restaurant365 is hiring a Support Specialist, Accounting to assist customers with R365 software accounting functions. The role involves troubleshooting, explaining accounting features, and routing issues to the correct teams. A strong accounting background and comfort with AI tools are valued.

Qualifications

• Professional or academic accounting experience.
• High attention to detail.
• Excel knowledge.
• Curiosity and eagerness to use AI in daily work, backed by hands-on experience, a good sense of what generative AI can and cannot do, and the judgment to verify its outputs.
• Flexible and adaptable based on the needs of the client and internal team
• Solution oriented mindset with ability to articulate under pressure
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex content with a simplified explanation
• Strong technical aptitude with experience communicating across multiple platforms
• A passion for helping people get the most out of technology

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot customer reports and request info.
• Identify solutions and communicate them to customers.
• Explain R365 accounting functions to customers.
• Route non-accounting issues to appropriate teams.
• Document software defects and escalate to Accounting Support Lead/Manager.
• Participate in live chats and screen shares.
• Manage personal queue of support tickets.
• Identify gaps in self-help documentation.
• Train and mentor new team members.
• Find opportunities to automate and improve with AI and other tools.
