Job summary

Advice Personnel seeks an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and scale financial processes for a fast-growing, AI-driven CPG company. You will own month-end close, oversee AP/AR, and drive automation across the finance function.

You will work with a modern, AI-enabled platform, strengthen controls, and partner with operations and commercial teams on cost and margin analysis in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Interest in AI and automation in accounting; AI tools a plus.
• Proficiency with accounting systems.
• Organized, detail-oriented, proactive problem solving.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and GAAP-compliant reporting.
• Own the day-to-day operation of a proprietary AI-powered accounting platform for AP/AR and workflows.
• Lead cleanup and normalization of historical financial records, ensuring accounts are current and audit-ready.
• Train and expand system capabilities; identify opportunities for automation and workflow improvements.
• Oversee AP and AR operations, including vendor payments, invoicing and collections, cards, and royalties reporting.
• Build cash flow forecasts, rolling reforecasts, and management reporting for real-time visibility.
• Develop financial controls, approval workflows, and documentation standards across onboarding.
• Support audit and tax preparation while partnering with cross-functional teams on cost and margin analysis.
