Job summary

Medici is seeking a hands-on, technology-forward Accounting & Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day financial operations and help build a more efficient, AI-enabled finance function.

You will manage core accounting activities, support financial reporting, and identify opportunities to streamline processes through AI, automation, and modern financial tools. This is a growth-enabled, ownership-focused role in a proactive team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience with QuickBooks and Bill.com; knowledge of internal controls and automation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations across multiple Medici entities.
• Manage accounts receivable, including membership billing, invoicing, payment reconciliation, collections, and account maintenance.
• Oversee accounts payable, vendor payments, contractor payments, and reimbursements through Bill.com.
• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks and coordinate month-end close activities, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and support cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Leverage AI, automation, and modern financial tools to streamline accounting processes and improve accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to improve billing, payment tracking, reporting, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with payroll providers, external accountants, and international accounting partners.
• Collaborate with Operations, Care Concierge, and Leadership to resolve financial discrepancies and support business needs.
• Develop scalable financial processes and proactively identify opportunities for improvement as the company grows.
