Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a mid-level AI Developer with strong software engineering skills to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications for government and private-sector clients. You will work across the full stack, leveraging AI coding assistants and agentic frameworks to deliver production-ready solutions.

The role requires 3–5 years in software development with 1–2 years in AI/ML app development and a degree in CS/AI/data science.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of software development experience with 1-2 years in AI/ML app development.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, AI or data science.
• Experience building apps with AI/LLM APIs and frameworks (Claude, OpenAI, LangChain).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using Python and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Build MCP servers to connect AI models with data sources and APIs.
• Develop RAG pipelines and agentic workflows for internal and client projects.
• Leverage AI-assisted coding tools to speed delivery and maintain code quality.
• Collaborate with SMEs, data engineers, and PMs to translate requirements into production AI solutions.
