Jacobs is seeking a mid-level AI Developer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications for government and private-sector clients. You will work across the stack using Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, and AI frameworks, connecting models to enterprise data via MCP and building RAG pipelines.

You'll collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and PMs in a hybrid environment, apply AI-assisted development tools, and contribute to technical demos and client-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software development experience with 1–2 years in AI/ML apps.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/AI/engineering or similar field.
• Experience with AI/LLM APIs and frameworks listed in the ad.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy AI-powered apps using Python/TypeScript and modern AI frameworks.
• Build MCP servers and integrate enterprise data sources and APIs.
• Develop RAG pipelines and agentic workflows for projects.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to speed delivery and ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with data engineers and PMs to translate requirements into production AI solutions.
• Architect full-stack solutions including React frontend and cloud APIs.
