Job summary

Jacobs seeks a mid-level AI Developer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications across government and private clients. You will work closely with data engineers, PMs, and SMEs to deliver production-ready solutions.

Requirements include 3–5 years in software development, 1–2 years in AI/ML, a BS in CS/Software engineering/AI, and fluency with AI APIs and frameworks. This is a hybrid role based in Dallas, TX with travel as needed.

Qualifications

3–5 years in software development with 1–2 years in AI/ML application development.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, AI, data science, or similar.
Proficiency building apps with AI/LLM APIs and frameworks (Claude, OpenAI, LangChain, MCP).

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and tools using Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, and modern AI frameworks.
Build MCP servers and integrations to connect AI models with data sources and APIs.
Develop RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and AI-assisted automation.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and maintain code quality.
Collaborate with SMEs, data engineers, and PMs to translate requirements into production AI solutions.
Architect full-stack solutions including front-end interfaces, back-end APIs, and cloud-hosted AI services.
