Job summary

CoorsTek, Inc. seeks an AI Deployment Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support production software that weaves AI and automation into our advanced ceramics operations.

This hands-on role requires coding in Python and TypeScript, building APIs and integrations, reviewing AI-generated code, and delivering secure, scalable solutions across plant and enterprise environments. Travel up to 40% in year one may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years building, deploying, and supporting production software.
• Experience with Python and/or TypeScript in production.
• Familiarity with Git, code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Ability to work with REST APIs and enterprise integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support production applications and AI-enabled solutions.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to translate needs into technical designs.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, security, and production readiness.
• Lead solution delivery from discovery through early-life support.
• Build front-end, service tier, APIs, integrations, and data layer components.
• Ensure governance, logging, and security standards are met.
• Coach citizen developers and move viable solutions into governed production.
