Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking an experienced AI Engineering Lead to act as the technical anchor for an AI delivery squad. You will oversee end-to-end engineering, deployment, and operations of enterprise AI solutions and AI-powered APIs.

You will design, build, and maintain reusable AI Factory capabilities, implement governance-first engineering practices, and collaborate with software engineers, AI architects, product leaders, and stakeholders to drive secure, scalable AI across Vizient.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting production AI applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python and enterprise-grade software solutions.
• Experience with cloud-native development, CI/CD, observability, and production support.
• Experience with AI technologies such as LLMs and related platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise AI applications and AI-powered APIs.
• Lead an AI delivery squad, providing technical leadership for scalable AI solutions.
• Develop reusable AI Factory capabilities and platform components.
• Support AIOps and MLOps through observability, telemetry, and incident response.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to expand AI engineering capabilities.
