Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a technical anchor for a focused AI delivery squad to lead end-to-end engineering, deployment, and operational support for enterprise AI solutions.

You will design, build, and support AI-powered applications, agentic workflows, and reusable AI capabilities that accelerate Vizient's AI Factory strategy. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with API development, CI/CD, and deployment automation.
• Hands-on experience designing and supporting production AI applications with monitoring and support.
• Strong proficiency in Python and enterprise-grade software development practices.
• Experience with LLM platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar.
• Cloud-native development, containers, observability, and production support in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of RAG, agentic AI, prompt engineering, and AI quality engineering preferred.
• Experience in regulated environments with data governance, privacy, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise AI applications and AI-powered APIs across the delivery lifecycle.
• Serve as the primary technical contributor for an AI delivery squad, providing leadership for scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Build reusable AIFactory capabilities and platform components to accelerate adoption.
• Develop AI quality engineering capabilities, including testing, guardrails, drift detection, and performance optimization.
• Support AI Operations (AIOps) and LLMOps with observability, logging, monitoring, and incident response.
• Contribute to deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and infrastructure automation.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to evaluate designs, set standards, and mentor teams.
• Support AI solutions in regulated healthcare environments with governance-first practices.
