Job summary

IFS is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to drive AI-enabled mobility for aviation maintenance. You will embed with Aerospace & Defense customers, shaping the next-gen mobile experience and integrating AI capabilities across the product stack.

The role demands deep expertise in AI, forward deployment, and end-to-end delivery, with leadership across multiple teams. You will own architecture, work with ERP/CRM/IoT systems, and ensure reliable, scalable software in real-world environments.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates hands-on experience with AI for product building including ML integration, prompt engineering, RAG and MLOps.
• Proven track record shipping mobile applications and setting technical direction.
• Leads end-to-end delivery across design, development, testing, deployment and security.

Responsibilities

• Shape next-generation mobility solution for aviation maintenance.
• Integrate AI-powered capabilities and ensure reliability in production.
• Embed with customers to deploy and harden solutions in real environments.
• Own architecture across ERP, CRM, IoT, telemetry and legacy systems.
• Drive technical strategy and mentor engineers across product groups.
• Ground technical decisions in customer evidence and business value.
