Job summary

SoTalent seeks a Project Manager for AI and Data Science in Boston to lead cross‑functional initiatives from planning to scalable delivery, bridging technical teams with business stakeholders.

You will oversee AI and data science projects, manage scope, schedules and budgets, run Agile ceremonies, translate complex concepts for leadership, and foster collaboration across product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years in a technical environment (professional, research, or academic).
• At least 2 years managing projects in Data Science or AI.
• Proven track record with Agile methodologies in technical projects.
• Strong proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of AI and data science initiatives: scope, schedules, budgets.
• Bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure requirement clarity.
• Facilitate all Agile rituals (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Translate complex AI concepts into actionable roadmaps for leadership.
• Identify risks and navigate ambiguity to keep delivery on track.
• Foster collaboration across diverse product-focused teams.
