Project Manager for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science

Our client, a major player in the financial services and insurance sector, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their Boston based innovation hub. In this role, you will be embedded within a high performing Data Science and AI Engineering department. This team focuses on advanced machine learning, generative AI, and autonomous agent technologies. You will be responsible for leading technical initiatives from the initial planning stages through to full scale implementation, ensuring all projects align with broader business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of AI and data science initiatives by managing scope, schedules, and budgets.

Candidate Requirements

• A completed Bachelor degree is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working within a technical environment, which may include professional, research, or academic settings.
• At least 2 years of direct experience managing projects specifically within the fields of Data Science or Artificial Intelligence.
• Proven track record of managing technical projects using Agile methodologies.
• Strong proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related Business field.
• Deep understanding of the latest trends in generative AI and emerging technology frameworks.
• Strong organizational leadership skills and an outcome oriented mindset.
